The mind lives in the past and the future. But the body is always in the present; the body is always there. So, the first technic to release stress and heal anxiety is to be curious. You ask yourself with curiosity, what exactly am I feeling? Why am I feeling this way? What is happening?
For example, when you sleep and think there is a monster under your bed, turn on the light and get curious. Check to see if there is a monster under the bed. Then, if there is no monster under your bed, why am I feeling like this? This is just one example I learned after my conversation with the fantastic Anil.
